Grabing my handy dandy programing manual that is full of bomb codes, it says:
(under File Manager Errors)
"-39  eofErr  :Logical end-of-file reached during read operation"

I would try and put the stuff in questions back onto the server from the
original floppy.  But that is just a guess.  At least you know what the
problem is though.  But it is interesting that the software didn't handle this
error.  It should have never gotten to a bomb box....
