From everything that I have heard from other people, the best (only?) way
to fix this is to have 3.6 OS on all machines.  I have been told that NFS
and OS 3.5 DON'T mix.  I have been warned by quite a few users that NFS
on 3.5 DOSN'T work.  So I would suggest that you upgrade to 3.6.
