Everytime I use it, I get a zero status back. Maybe its a question of knowing where these standard colormap properties reside? I have specified a variety of different things to the window argument of this function, including root windows and windows I have created myself. None of them seem to work. Is this something the window manager should take care of? If so, does UWM define these correctly? -ted ARPAnet: tek@penzance.cs.ucla.edu UUCP: ...!ucbvax!ucla-cs!tek
