I am a novice to X11 (X10 too for that matter). I am trying to convert an interactive simulator from using X10 to X11 windows. All I do with X windows is open a window and write text to it. I sort of have it working now, but have one major problem (other than it being 10 times slower than X10 on my SUN). While the simulator is running it updates the X window displays every couple of seconds. If I hit control C to interrupt the simulation the X library writes an "Interrupted system call" message and exits. How can I tell the library to just return without blowing up. All I could find so far in the X documentation was XSetIOErrorHandler() which only allows you to do cleanup before exiting. Clayton Andreasen (612)681-3379 Cray Research, Inc.
