One strategy was to tune the cfb code a much as possible. Another strategy mentioned was to rewrite the ddx layer to use pixrect rasterops instead of the cfb code. The question is: Has anyone emperically determined which is the better strategy in terms of performance? Does anyone have any other comments concerning this issue? Does anyone know how efficient the basic pixrect rasterops are compared to tuned cfb code? Thanks for any comments... -- John LaLonde Systems Engineering Group Nicolet Instrument Corporation uucp: {ihnp4,rutgers,decvax,harvard}!uwvax!nicmad!lalonde
