On page 338 of the September, 1988 BYTE magazine there is an advertisement for a "waveform synthesizer" card for IBM PC/XT/AT and compatibles. It generates user-definable signals with up to 2000 points per envelope. It costs $795. You probably don't need this kind of generality, but you may want to inquire if they have what you want.
