Something that one doesn't often get the chance to see is an escalator
under construction.  If you're downtown and this is of interest, visit
the Bloor/Yonge subway station, where the escalator for the new entrance
under construction is now in pieces on the platform.  (That's the west
end of the east-west platform, where the new entrance is going to be.)

Unlike most TTC construction, they're doing this one behind ropes rather
than opaque barriers.
