Is there anyway to get stty sane to stop using @ as a control character?

Does anyone have a termcap entry for the windowless console? (adm3 does
NOT work; vi clobbers parts of lines, and there is no cursor displayed
normally (there may not be one at all))

How can I tell fsck not to reboot after it alters /dev/fp002? (This is
serious--I had it reboot on me in a situation where it did more harm by
rebooting than if it hadn't rebooted--I did not correct the free list or
the inode count for just that reason. Never mind that /usr/include had become
a file.)
