Keywords: can it be done? Message-ID: <6512@chinet.UUCP> Date: 6 Sep 88 04:00:32 GMT Organization: Chinet - Chicago Public Access UNIX Lines: 22 Can a crontab entry be devised so that smgr will shut down a 7300? My attempts to put /etc/shutdown in chrontab are failing probably because the messages about the phone line shutdown and parking the disc drive heads aren't getting a response... the messages themselves are sent to /usr/adm/cronlog - window and all. A couple of extra "%" delimiters did not help (placed in the crontab entry). Advice solicited. ================================================================================ ...???!chinet!penl0p!dsueme David M.
