Lines: 15 Hi ... does anyone out there know the current status of the Bandwidth Allocation mechanism to be employed within FDDI Station Management for the distribution of bandwidth to the users of the 'synchronous service class'. The most recent version of the SMT specification that I have is the Draft ANSI Standard dated April 16, 1987 (rev 2.1) which contains no information on this facility, however, the MAC draft specification indicates that the scheme is dynamic and requires the exchange of SMT PDU's. Thanks in advance for any help Stephen Keith -- UUCP: ...!uunet!mcvax!ukc!strath-cs!sk | Dept.
