Keywords: callable emacs debug editor Message-ID: <597@afit-ab.arpa> Date: 16 Sep 88 15:02:23 GMT Reply-To: jspear@blackbird.afit.af.mil (Jon L. Spear) Distribution: na Organization: Air Force Institute of Technology; WPAFB, OH Lines: 19 I just noticed that the help text for the VMS Debugger for HELP SET EDITOR mentions the option: SET EDITOR /CALLABLE_EMACS. So I tried it, asked to edit a source file, and got the error message: %DEBUG-I-EDITERROR, error while trying to EDIT %LIB-E-ACTIMAGE, error activating image DUA0:[SYS0.][SYSLIB]EMACSSHR.EXE; -RMS-E-FNF, file not found My question is: where can we get a sharable image for Emacs that would be "callable"? Is there a way to build GNU Emacs to do this? Or, is this just a reference to the Emacs that VMS developers are rumoured to have been playing with for a few years?
