I have been browsing through this news group catching some
of the discussions on OO languages, etc, but have only a cursory
knowledge of C++. I notice everyone mentioning a 'friend' feature
implementing some type of inheritance(?). Could someone enlighten me
as to what the semantics and even syntax of this feature are?
