Lines: 16 I've got some 80 character/record formatted ascii data. The format's specification says "11" and "12" overpunches occur in certain columns. What I know: punched digits 0 to 9 show as is. punched digits 1 to 9 plus a "12" overpunch show as A to I. punched digits 1 to 9 plus an "11" overpunch show as J to R. It appears that a punched 11-0 shows as a "}" (right curly brace), but I'm not sure why and I wonder if it's universal. Secondly, I'd like to know what a 12-0 shows as.
