I am looking for uucp specs, as I would like to implement a standalone uucp
for my mac that would be standalone and could run under finder (including
interface to read and send mail and read and send news.  The interface 
I already have, I need to have the machine talk to other machines though).  
The sort of things I need are a list of commands that a
master or server would use to request mail, what format the mail
is expected to come in, and what protocols are used for 
transferring it, how calls are actually handled etc......

I would also like to have similar information regarding how the news
is exchanged.

If anybody could send me info or point me to a place where I could
find any of this out, I would greatly appreciate it.
