In "The Brady Guide to CD-ROM", which was written in late 1986, the authors said CD-PROM could be written in small quantities economically and read in from standard CD-ROM drives. The book said that availability is not expected until "late 1987 or 1988". Has this technology hit the market yet? If so, I really need to know who is manufacturing the drives and disks, how much they cost, their availibility, how well they have been working out, and any wisdom/caveats about their use. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!! -- Dave Bakken UUCP: arizona!bakken Internet: bakken@arizona.edu
