The REAL expandability is in the 2000. Although you will pay considerably less for the A500 at first (even after upgrading the 500's memory to the same level I would expect the price difference to be several hundred dollars) you will find hard drives to be cheaper when you can use the internal power supply of the 2000 and no external case is necessary. The selection of boards seems to be much wider for the 2000 than the 500, those boards which are available for both ALWAYS are available for the 2000 first, and it has always seemed to me that a lot of the expansion stuff for the 500 looked awfully kludgy (just an opinion folks, no flames please). When I take the cover off of my 2000 visions of expansion dance before my eyes, all those empty slots and so much to fill them with (like a 68020 & 68881 or a genlock). John Munsch
