"Maybe your KickStart disk is corrupt..." I mentioned in _both_ articles that I _could_ restart from software, not from hardware. I am _not_ failing WCS checksum tests. All my backups of the KickStart disk behave the same way, and behave properly in other people's machines. I do know that the daughter card has been damaged and incorrectly repaired. The daughter card was damaged by ME, trying to install a PAL upgrade and grounding (no, grounding was _not_ sufficient). I was asking anyone if they know about HARDWARE reasons for my problem.
