Computer & Software News (Sept 12) reports that "Commodore signs Omni Micro, Priority 1, Fryes" as new dealership chains that will sell the Amiga and Commodore PC clones. Omni, a 15-outlet chain based in South Bend, Indiana; and Priority 1, a four-store chain, are the largest business-oriented resellers Commodore has won since Max Toy took over. The article reports that other 6 or 7 chains are having talks with Commodore. Commodore supposedly announced that the A2286 Bridgeboard will ship within 60 days, and that "the 68020 card will be availablle with either 2 or 4 Mbytes of RAM, and will simultaneously run UNIX, DOS *and* AmigaDOS". The board will also come with either a 68881 or 68882 math co- processor". Enjoy. -- Marco Papa 'Doc' -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= uucp:...!pollux!papa BIX:papa ARPAnet:pollux!papa@oberon.usc.edu "There's Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Diga!" -- Leo Schwab [quoting Rick Unland] -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
