There is no accounting for tastes.  Some like to hear a bit of
unadulterated good news from time to time.  Others are only interested in
counting the number of processes that can dance on the head of a hard
disk.

I hope those of you who, like Charles, complained about the various
announcements will consider how many fewer articles there would have been
on the subject, both pro and con, if you had just pressed the "n" key.
And I will continue to enjoy (and vocally support) such announcements in
the future. . .
