Keywords: echoing to screen and printer Message-ID: <156@antares.UUCP> Date: 16 Sep 88 19:24:48 GMT Organization: Tymnet QSATS, San Jose CA Lines: 21 [I got no response with Distribution:Ca, this is a repost] Does there exist a console handler that can echo to screen and printer like CP/M and MS-DOS do on Control-P? I need to have all the prompts from my program be echoed to both the console window and the printer, and everthing I type in echoed to both the console window and the printer. Redirection to PRT: doesn't cut it; I can't see my prompts and the printer can't see my input. (This is for turning in homework assignments.) I don't really need the ability to toggle the printing function on and off (although it would be nice). For what I need, it would not be unreasonable to open a new CLI window that had exclusive access to the printer up until the ENDCLI. Has this been done? Or do I have to do something like hack CONMAN myself. -- +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | TYMNET:JMS@F29 CA:"POPJ P," UUCP:{ames|pyramid}oliveb!tymix!antares!jms | | INTERNET:JMS%F29.Tymnet@Office-1.ARPA PHONE:Joe Smith @ (408)922-6220 | +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
