Well it looks like someone beat apple to the punch on your redesign the case
  idea.  Look in the back of the October? issue of Incider.  There is an add
  on the back page with a picture of a parachuter in mid air with a GS in his
  lap.  The add is advertising 20/30/60 meg drives that will clip onto your
  power supply. Or maybe it was replace your power supply (I don't remeber).
  But they use Seagate 3.5in hard drives and the 20meg was selling for $450!!
     I was impressed.  This price is better than any I've seen for Apple hard-
  drives.  Of course most drives you buy have external power supplies and this
  one *PROBABLY* (Again I don't KNOW) uses the internal power supply)
     If anyone buys one of these drives...let me know how they work out!
