To program a 27512 would require 64K of buffer space (since a 27512
is organized as 64Kx8). A 27256 only requires 32K of buffer space,
which is also approximately how much memory is left in the system
after the Promenade software is loaded. Remember, a C-64 only has 64K
of RAM total, and much of that is overlayed by OS ROMs and I/O
devices....
