It's the standard version of the (U.S. import) APC-III, so most documentation is similar. We have a few 9801's here in a lab, and some technical documentation (in Japanese). NEC support is generally very good, and you should be able to get everything you need from them. The APC-III was marketed by their Home Electronics division, not the Information Systems division.
