I gave a friend of mine my old 286 motherboard and an old HDFD controller card I had used with it. My friend has a true blue IBM PC (4.77). He had to acquire a new chasis for the mother board. Once all this was done, he installed his old cards, the HDFD card I gave him, his 10 MB hard disk, and his 360k floppy disk. When he attempts to boot the monitor works, but the system will not read from the floppy disk. The light comes on, but that all. If he moves the floppy disk back to his IBM PC it all works fine. Any help or ideas would be much appreciated!!
