In summary: comp.sys.ibm.pc.tech would be a technical newsgroup devoted to dicussion of issues of importance to *programmers* of IBM PC/AT/PS2 computers and compatibles. This is analogous to the comp.sys.mac.programmers group for Mac people. When you vote, indicate any naming preference. Personally, I would prefer comp.sys.ibm.pc.programmers, since it's more specific.
