Addendum to my response:

In the lates issue of Circuit Cellar INK (Steve Ciarcia'a "own" magazine)
it is mentioned that no more of his "Ciarcia's Circuit Cellar" articles
will appear in BYTE from january 1989 on.

This definitely seals BYTE's faith: Nothing for homeberwers and experimenters
only for people who want to BUY (and have lots 'n lots of $$$).
