All seems to be fine except that when I try and use the TIMER command to 'boot-up' the clock from the battery-backed one on my I/O card, I get the message 'clock not found'! My I/O card manual says the clock is there, and I've checked the battery, which gives a strong 4 volt reading, so what's wrong? The manual describes making bridges between pins on one of the RS232 ports on the card to enable/disable the clock, but although I have connected the pins where it says, I still get no clock. Does anyone out there have a NESS machine and know where I might be going wrong (have you had a similar problem?) or know the correct pins to connect on the I/O card? Thanks, Ian Macey, Bath, England. --
