The Microtech manual says I can leave the hardisk on at all times...and I do, as well as my Rodime. I also leave the MacPlus on all the time. Is this a good idea? Should I do a shutdown at the end of the day and just turn off the Mac? "Shutdown" parks the heads....If I *don't* shutdown, will I eventually wear out either drive?? The reason I leave the Mac on too is that when it is idle I have it run a Hypercard stack that puts up a Grandfather Clock that chimes on the hour. Thanks for any help!
