What I'd really like to know, however, is how valuable is GEnie? What do I get other than some files to download and maybe a little mail? I can ftp from just about to just about any archive sites, so downloading software isn't a big concern (unless the stuff on GEnie is unique). I can also send mail to just about anyone who gets e-mail. So what does GEnie offer me that I don't already have. Also a lot of GEnie info (I take it) is forwarded to UseNet by readers of GEnie anyway. For those of you who do get GEnie, how valuable is it to you? I'd like to know users opinions before I try to sign up because as I understand it I don't get an evaluation period to decide whether it's really useful or not. Thanx again Mark Frost (humtech@ucschu.UCSC.EDU) or humtech@ucschu.bitnet
