I'll paraphrase Winston Churchill: Suns are the worst workstations, except when you consider the alternatives. Realistically, I don't think Suns are particularly bad compared to their major competition: Apollos, VAXstations, and HPs. I've used machines from all 4 (HP to a lesser extent) and personally I prefer Suns.
