I recall a user here having the same problem.  They had the extended memory
board installed but the EEPROM set up was set to only use the original 1.1mb of
memory.  As I recall there's a utility outside of Lisp that allowed us to
configure the machine so it used the extended memory board.  Perhaps someone
forgot to do this.
