One problem they've identified is in identifying the particular tape mounted on a drive. Is there any way to label a tape in UNIX? I've never had to worry about this (usually I'm only dealing with my own tape, and therefore already KNOW what's on it and that it's the tape I want), but it's been raised as a concern.
