There has been much discussion lately about X11 toolkits but
not much has been said about X11 servers.

As a person who intends to run X11 on multiple vendor platforms
I am very interested in what vendors are doing to optimize their
servers.

I am particularly interested in DEC, APOLLO, SUN, HP, and SGI.

Can someone give me details about what these vendors are doing?
