Unfortunately everybody wants X11 (we were very pleased with the performance of X10R4 on the same machines)! I have some questions: Is this related to moving from pixrect to cfb in Xsun Did anybody at Sun or elsewere encounter the same problem? Is there a fixup (or hack) in sight, or should I bypass the Xsun implementation and make calls to raster-ops for images. Do other machines (i.e Ardent, SUN4-c) have a better performing implemnetation. thanks for any help on that matter.
