I have installed X11R2 on our Sun 3/60s and our VAXstation II/RC (monochrome
qvss). The VAX is running Ultrix 1.2. Earlier, we had installed the DEC
windowing software that came with the machine (X10 based) so I commented out
the last line of ttys (ttyv0) to stop it from loading. I CAN bring up X11R2
as the root but not as a user. I get the following error message in response
to "xinit -- Xqvss &"

   couldn't open qvss
   screen 0 failed initialization
   Fatal server bug!
   no screens found
   xinit: Connection refused: Can't connect to server
   Exit 1       xinit -- Xqvss

I have checked that the path is the same for root and user as well as the
file access privileges in /usr/bin/X11. Has anyone seen this problem?
