Are there fundamental reasons keyboard mappings could not be handled
as xrdb defaults, so that once could specify for example

xterm*controlMetaShift-A-binding: "hi there in xterm"
*controlMetaShift-A-binding: "hi there from somewhere"

to define what control-meta-shift-A would send in and out of xterm, say?
