Message-ID: Date: 17 Sep 88 19:08:16 GMT Sender: daemon@bloom-beacon.MIT.EDU Organization: The Internet Lines: 12 I am working on SUN4/260 with color monitor. The only command I can find to prepare the image file is 'xpr'. Unfortunately, 'xpr' can only accept data of XY-format. Therefore, I use 'xwd' with the option -xy to get an image. It take an unreasonalbly long time, about 5 minutes depending on the size I need to dump, to create the output file. (To create a Z-format output file just take a few seconds.) Furthermore, I just got a junk file which, after transfered with 'xpr -device ps', is a dark garbage. Could someone tell me how to dump a color image and transfer it to a Postscript file ready for LaserWriter? Thank you in advance. -- tsai yt07+@andrew.cmu.edu
