The DARPA Executive Summary on Neural Networks mentions a neural
network simulation system called MX-1/16 with a projected
storage capacity of 50M interconnects and processing speed of 120M
interconnects/sec. 

Could someone shed light on who is building this machine, what
network models does it support, system architecture, stage of
development...?
