I am having a problem with a remote terminal emulation between a standalone pc and a Novell Network. I am using Close-UP by Norton Lambert Corp. with a Multitech 224E running at both ends. The host (terminal) is set properly as well as the remote (support) end. I have asserted this by using modems other than the Multitech 224E on the other end. Thus far non-MNP class modems do fine when communicating with the Multitech. Could it be an MNP problem? I have even gone as far as turning off the error correction, with the same results, a frozen keyboard right after autobauding. In suppliment, my dip sw. are set with 3 and 8 both flipped down. Once again, any advice is welcome. Von Kenric Kaneshiro Honolulu, Hawaii
