Hello, 

I have got the EDT-Emulator with Emacs Version 18.50. It works quite
well, but a problem appears with the function "edt-emulation-on": this
function in turn calls "edt-bind-gold-keypad", which takes quite a lot
of time (can be 15 seconds on our MicroVax). This function must be
called after $TERM.el is loaded, but does anybody see a way for
preloading ?

Perhaps it is possible to dump this stuff into an Emacs variable say
for vt100.el and vt200.el. At run time edt-bind-gold-keypad can read
this variable, if the user wish.
