Please forgive my inserting a rather ignorant question into a fairly learned
discussion, but what is "cfront"?  I'm guessing that it is a front end
preprocessor for implementing C++ on a machine which has a C compiler?  Is
it public domain?  I'm on a machine running Microport V/AT (a 286) and I'd
like to try my hand at C++.
