Keywords: mail printing lp Message-ID: <312@cpmain.UUCP> Date: 5 Oct 88 15:45:17 GMT Organization: Career Employment Service, Westbury, NY Lines: 11 Here is a situation I have and hopefully someone may have a simple solution to it. What we have here is a system with 8 different branches multiplexed into a central Unix system. The system is using the lpr program as its spooler. Each branch has its own dedicated printer. I want to be able to setup each branch so that when they use the "p" command in mail, it will print to the appropriate printer rather than the default system printer /dev/lp. Is this a simple matter of setting an environmental variable? -- Michael R. Johnston - @NET: mikej@cpmain.uucp ...{cmcl2!phri!,uunet!}dasys1!cpmain!mikej || ...philabs!mergvax!cpmain!mikej
