However, several other kinds of machines use NFS now and even some of us who use Suns have good reasons for not running SunOS 4.x. We would still like to be able to access our /{usr,var}/spool/mail files on a server from different machines. It would be even nicer if the method chosen were compatable with that used by SunOS 4.x.
