I worked for a computer store that sold these machines, along with the Mountain Hardware Appliance Controllers. My favorite trick was to plug the Apple into the controller, manually turn it on, and load a driver that intercepted keyboard input. After so may keys were typed, a command would be send to the controller, and *poof* the machine would turn off. This would in- evitably confuse the salesman, and amuse the customer. Once they figured out the trick, they told me they would then be more impressed if I could make it turn itself back on.
