Gee, I always wondered why a lot of systems use backspace to delete a character when there is a perfectly good delete key on the keyboard. A much more serious complaint is with terminal emulators which will map the delete to backspace (or vice-versa) but do so using the ascii, rather than scancode (which I know from other capabilities they have access to), so I have two or three ways to get one code, but _no_ way to get the other :-( > -- > Keith Garrett "This is *MY* opinion, OBVIOUSLY" > UUCP: keith@mips.com or {ames, decwrl, prls}!mips!keith > USPS: Mips Computer Systems,930 Arques Ave,Sunnyvale,Ca. 94086 | Mike Albaugh (albaugh@dms.UUCP || {...decwrl!turtlevax!}weitek!dms!albaugh) | Atari Games Corp (Arcade Games, no relation to the makers of the ST) | 675 Sycamore Dr. Milpitas, CA 95035 voice: (408)434-1709 | The opinions expressed are my own (Boy, are they ever)
