Message-ID: <181@hsi86.hsi.UUCP> Date: 4 Oct 88 11:13:24 GMT Organization: Health Systems Intl., New Haven, CT Lines: 15 Are there any de-facto standards for a C-interface to NetBIOS ?? The recent book "C Programmer's Guide to NetBIOS" doesn't help at all in this regard. I am hoping there are better interfaces than just a single function that requires a pointer to an NCB. (The IBM-supplied C interface to their TCP/IP system under VM consists of a single C function, believe it or not.) Also, who supplies NetBIOS implementations for systems other than PC-DOS ?? Has anyone implemented RFC 1001 / RFC 1002 in a generic way under UNIX ?? Richard Stevens Health Systems International, New Haven, CT stevens@hsi.uu.net ... { uunet | yale } ! hsi ! stevens
