Well, it only goes to prove that you can't please all of the people all of
the time.

How about making it a new command line option, which if specified would
prevent windows from getting activated until the mouse moves?  Frankly, I
must confess that I'm not certain exactly how much I'd like it that way, but 
it sounds reasonable enough, and should solve the requester problem for people 
who find it annoying....
