I think a 386 clone & Un*x would cost you more than the Amiga Un*x (but until its released thats up for debate). Plus im not sure how your going to run Sculpt-3d on Un*x unless they have a version im not aware of. Finally im sure that you are well aware of the multi-serial ports discussions a few months back.
