It can be populated with 500k, 1meg or 2 meg (2 meg requires an optional "upper deck"). Plugged in memory chips and it works fine. I have been using a "Bareboards" 2-meg external which also works fine, but doesn't autoconfigure. It's for sale, but only with the 2 megs of memory it has on it ($550).
