The REALLY interesting thing is that the original question and the correct
answer both arrived here at SAS Institute on the same day.  This might
explain why the Institute and the Software Distillery (whose members use
the Institute as a news feed) failed to respond.

(It also doesn't help that John Toebes is out of town. . .)
